The grandeur of the Rajvansh mansion was palpable as the family and their staff scurried about, preparing for the most anticipated event of the season: the engagement of the family's eldest son.

The mansion's opulent halls were abuzz with activity as florists, caterers, and decorators worked tirelessly to transform the space into a fairytale-like setting. The air was thick with the scent of fresh flowers and the sound of soft music wafted through the corridors, setting the tone for the joyous celebration to come.

In the midst of the chaos,, the elegant and poised dipali and durga, stood tall, her eyes scanning the room with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. She was determined to make this day perfect for her brother and her sister-in-law.

"Make sure the decorations are flawless," she instructed the decorator, her voice firm but polite. "And see to it that the catering is top-notch. We want our guests to be impressed."

As the staff scurried to fulfill her instructions, they couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and joy. Their brother was finally settling down, and she couldn't wait to welcome vaani fully into their family.

Meanwhile, dhruv and vaani were busy with their own preparations, their excitement and nervousness palpable as they counted down the hours until their engagement ceremony.

As the sun began to set, casting a warm golden glow over the mansion, the Rajvansh family and their staff stood poised, ready to welcome their guests and celebrate the union of them.

Dhruv sat on his bed, surrounded by his brothers, who were all grinning from ear to ear. The atmosphere in the room was lively, with the sound of laughter and teasing filling the air.

"So, Mr. 'I'm never getting married' is finally off the market," Sahil, said, chuckling.

Aryan rolled his eyes good-naturedly. "Shut up, sahil."

Anant chimed in, "We never thought we'd see the day when dhruv would be engaged." he said it dramatically teasing him more.

Dhruv keeps his face strict but inside he was very nervous and shy too as his brothers continued to tease him. "Guys, come on. It's not that funny."

But his brothers just laughed harder. "Oh, it's hilarious," Shail said, wiping invisible tears from his eyes . "You're finally settling down, dhruv."

Dhruv shook his head, smiling. "You're just jealous because I'm getting engaged before."

"O hello, I am not married yet, at least I have experience with girls, I don't know what will happen with vaani When she gets you an old fashioned man", dhruv glare at him making him shut down.

The teasing continued for a while longer, but eventually, dhruv's brothers calmed down, and they all started discussing the engagement ceremony and the wedding plans.

Dhruv was happy but deep inside he was afraid that when will Niya attack him and why is Vaani behaving differently these days.

Meanwhile, in vaani's room, a similar scene was unfolding. Isha, ayla and her best friend, Priya, were teasing her mercilessly about her engagement to dhruv

Her face was beet red as she tried to defend herself against their jokes and teasing. "Stop it, guys! It's not that funny," she said, laughing despite herself.

Isha grinned mischievously. "Oh, come on, vaani. You're finally off the market. We have to celebrate."

Priya chimed in, "And we have to tease you about your new status as a soon-to-be wife."

Isha burst out laughing. "Wife? Of dhruv's possessiveness and overprotectiveness? what will happen to your vaani," isha said, teasingly.

Vaani's face turned an even deeper shade of red as she tried to defend dhruv. "Hey, he's not that bad. And besides, He takes more care for his family."

Ayla and Priya exchanged a knowing look, and then Isha said, "Oh, look, she didn't married to him yet, she don't like to hear anything against him",

Vaani looked towards them with pending eyes then Ayla said," ok no more teasing. but vani we all are very happy that now you will become my big sister-in-law in the right sense",

Vaani smiled, feeling relieved. "Thanks, guys. That means a lot coming from you."

As vaani smiled and laughed with her sister-in-law and friend, a different story was unfolding inside her. Behind the façade of happiness and excitement, vaani's heart was heavy with sorrow and fear.

She couldn't shake off the feeling of mortality that had been looming over her since her diagnosis. The doctors had told her that her illness was incurable, and that she didn't have much time left.

Flashback......

Vaani was sitting in the cabin of the family doctor for her report, which she did to examine her body.

The doctor's eyes were somber as he gazed at the young girl sitting across from him. Her bright smile and sparkling eyes seemed to belie the gravity of the situation.

"Vaani, I'm afraid I have some bad news," the doctor said, his voice laced with empathy. "The tests have shown that your brain's neurons are deteriorating at an alarming rate."

Vaani's eyes widened in shock, but she remained silent, as if trying to process the information.

The doctor continued, his voice heavy with sorrow. "I'm afraid you don't have much time left. Your condition is... incurable."

Vaani's face crumpled, and she buried her face in her hands. The doctor's eyes filled with tears as he watched her, feeling a deep sense of sorrow and helplessness.

The doctor's face is contorted in anguish. "You're so young for this," he whispered. "You have your whole life ahead of you."

Vaani's eyes filled with tears again, and she shook her head. "I know," she whispered. "But I'm not afraid. I'm just... sad."

Vaani's mind was reeling as she sat in the doctor's office, the words "incurable" and "not much time left" echoing in her head like a death knell. But amidst the chaos of her thoughts, one thing stood out - dhruv.

What would happen to him now? Would she have to leave him behind, to spare him the pain of watching her die? The thought was unbearable, and vaani felt a wave of despair wash over her.

She thought about all the plans they had made, all the dreams they had shared. Would she have to give all that up now? The thought of leaving dhruv behind, of not being able to spend the rest of her life with him, was too much to bear.

Vaani's eyes filled with tears as she thought about the pain she would cause dhruv. She knew she had to make a decision, but she didn't know what to do. All she knew was that she couldn't bear the thought of leaving dhruv behind.

Then she decided that she will not do anything, will let things go on as they are, will not tell anything to anyone and will spend the last moments of her life with her family.

she looked towards the doctor with tears filled eyes," will you do a favour on me", she asked her voice barely audible,

"Yes my child, what do you want", he asked,

"Please, doctor, don't tell my family," she begged. "I want to spend my last days with them, happy and carefree. I don't want them to worry about me or be sad."

The doctor's face was stern, his eyes filled with a deep sense of responsibility. "Vaani, I'm afraid I have a duty to inform your family about your condition," he said gently. "They need to know, and they need to be prepared."

Vaani's eyes filled with tears as she grasped the doctor's hand. "Please, uncle," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm begging you, please don't take away my last chance at happiness. consider it my last wish"

The doctor's expression softened, and he looked at vaani with a deep sense of compassion. He saw the desperation in her eyes, the plea for him to understand her. And in that moment, he knew he couldn't deny her request.

"Okay, vaani," he said finally, his voice filled with a sense of resignation. "I'll keep your secret",

Vaani nodded eagerly, tears of gratitude streaming down her face. "Thank you, doctor," she whispered. "Thank you for understanding me."

END of FLASHBACK

Vaani felt like she was living on borrowed time, and the thought of leaving dhruv behind was unbearable. She had fallen deeply in love with him, and the thought of not being able to spend the rest of her life with him was crushing her.

As she pretended to be happy and carefree, vaani's mind was racing with dark thoughts. She felt like she was dying inside, and that her engagement to dhruv was just a cruel joke.

"Why did this have to happen to me?" Vaani thought to herself, feeling a wave of despair wash over her. "why did you give me so much happiness Lord only to leave him behind?"

As the evening wore on, vaani's sadness and fear threatened to overwhelm her. She felt like she was living a lie, and that her happiness was just a facade.

As the clock struck 7 pm, the grand ballroom of the Rajvansh mansion was abuzz with excitement. The guests, a select few close friends and family members, were seated and eagerly awaiting the arrival of the bride and groom.

The lights dimmed, and a soft, melodious music filled the air. The guests turned their attention to the entrance, where a beautifully decorated archway stood, adorned with fresh flowers and intricate designs.

Suddenly, the music swelled, and the lights brightened. Dhruv, dashing in his tailored suit, emerged from the archway, but his face was natural, He was followed by vaani, resplendent in her elegant red gown, her eyes shining with happiness.

seeing vaani shining eyes.,Bhoomi's eyes filled with tears which Dipti noticed.she placed her head on bhoomi's should,

"Don't worry, we will never let her happiness diminish, she will always be happy with us", she said knowing a mother thought.

"I had never thought that my vaani would ever be so happy", she said, her voice was heavy but happens was shining in her eyes.

Here looking at them Nikhil also get emotional,"I have fulfilled my promise, look at your vaani, now she will always be happy, she will never have any problem with it. And we will never let it happen either", he was thinking this when his gaze moved upward towards Frist floor and his eyes widened.

There Virat was standing with a soft smile and was looking towards nikhil,"thanku", saying this he disappeared from there and a tear made it way through Nikhil's eyes but he immediately wiped before anyone notice.

As they made their way to the stage, the guests rose to their feet, applauding and cheering. The family members, seated in the front row, beamed with pride, their eyes brimming with tears of joy.

Dhruv and vaani reached the stage, where a beautifully decorated altar stood, adorned with flowers, candles, and a stunning diamond ring. The priest, a wise and kind-eyed man, greeted them with a warm smile.

And the twist is that this is the same Pandit who had attended the marriage of Vaani and Dhruv and who has come on Anmol's call.

Pandit was staring at Dhruv due to which Dhruv also remembers him and he looked at anmol with done expression and Anmol just Winked at him.

The ceremony began, with the priest chanting ancient mantras and Dhruv and vaani exchange rings followed by family loud clapping.

As the engagement party was in full swing, the guests couldn't help but whisper among themselves about the age gap between Dhruv and Vaani. The murmurs grew louder, and the air was thick with curiosity.

"I heard she's 10 years younger than him," one guest whispered.

"Yes, and he's  handsome, CEO of Rajvansh Empire and a price too and she only a medical student," another guest replied. "I wonder what he sees in her."

Just as the conversation was gaining momentum, Dhruv's family stepped in, their faces stern and unyielding.

"I think it's time we put an end to this conversation," Aarun said firmly, his voice commanding attention. "Dhruv and Vaani's relationship is not up for discussion. They are adults, and they have made their choice. Let us respect that."

The room fell silent, and the guests looked away, embarrassed. Rajvansh family had made it clear that they would not tolerate any gossip or speculation about the couple's relationship.

As the party continued, the atmosphere was more subdued, but Dhruv and Vaani didn't seem to notice. They were lost in their own little world, their eyes locked on each other as they exchanged sweet smiles and tender glances.

But those people who were happy in their own happiness and love for the tears and the voice was flowing from their eyes, there were two such eyes between them, in which one was sad and in the other's eyes only hatred was shining.

One of them The person who read Vani's report was happy to see Vani happy, but he knew deep inside his heart that the happiness of this family will not last long.

"No one can understand the game of Destiny , when we ask for something then it does not give it to us and when it does give it, it takes it at a time when we do not have any expectation of that thing", he thinks in his mind and a painful smile came on his face.

While there was no other person, there was that evil eye on their happiness about which the doctor was talking. That eye was Niya. She was standing there among them, looking at Dhruv and Vani who were enjoying their happiness.

Seeing them she stood there with an evio smile on her face,"Two days, just two days and after that you will not need to do this drama to be happy because after that you will be freed from this pain", she thinks, her eyes were shining with manice.

Then someone tapped on her shoulder and she turned find rudra standing with beautiful smile, she smiled back.

"Let Uncle should come back from Dubai once, then we too will have an engagement like this", saying this he Winked at her and she laughs while fixing her goggles.

"Come on Priya, when will you marry me", rudra asked wiggling like a child but she only laughed and shook her head again and looked towards vaani and dhruv.

Rudra pout and back hugged her while resting his chin on her shoulder looking at dhruv and vaani lovely.

"well both of them look good together", rudra said and Priya/niya clutched her fist on her dress but smile at him and nodded.

"yes both of these look good together but he will look better with me", she thinks while heated was clearly visible in her eyes."Only two days vaani, only two days after that This entire mansion will only hear your screams but they won't even get a glimpse of you",

(A/N- now I'm feeling bad for Rudra)

DHRUV pov-

Engagement is a big word for me. I had never thought in my entire life that I would ever get engaged but today I am going to get engaged and that too with my own wife.

As the lift is going down the sound in my heart which happened when blood pumped by it is increasing because today for the first time I am going to meet her despite the whole family knowing.

Because as per their saying our entry will be with them, that is why all my brothers left me alone and now I am going to get the vani.

In our engagement only family members and some immediate guests are invited and that too under complete security and I also know that Niya must be watching all this but now it does not matter to me.

The lift opened and i came out going towards her room when suddenly Priya came that direction and collide with me. Thanku God i held her on time or she gets hurt now.

"Are you ok", i asked in concerned but she didn't said anything just looking at me.

My gaze fall on my hand which was on her shoulder i immediately get it off. She mummered sorry and left from here.

She seem a bit strange today

But i ignored and came towards vaani's room and stood outside. I knocked on the door and after sometime she opened the door.

I stood there, gazing at Vaani's breathtaking beauty, I felt like I was drowning in a sea of emotions. I had never seen her look so stunning, so radiant. The red langha she wore seemed to bring out the color in her cheeks, and her eyes sparkled like diamonds in the light.

I felt my heart racing in my chest, my pulse pounding in my ears. I couldn't believe that this beautiful, innocent and kind-hearted woman was going to be mine in front of the world. I felt like the luckiest man alive.

I looked into Vaani's eyes, I saw a spark of mischief there, a hint of playfulness that I adored. I knew that she was teasing me, enjoying my reaction to her beauty. And I didn't mind one bit. I was happy to be the object of her teasing, happy to be the one she loved.

I let out a breath and placed my hand on my heart," do you intend to take my life mrs Rajvansh", i asked playfully and she lowered her gaze while her red Sade check turned more red matching with her lipstick.

"How much I want to suck this lipstick of yours and test it with the sweet taste of your lips", i say coming closer to her while her eyes widened and she placed her head on my chest.

"Whatever you want you can but after the engagement. Now everyone is waiting for us and I don't want to answer their werid questions", she said while pending tone and my eyes sparkled with mischief

"whatever I want I can do. Think again swan", i said with smirk while pulling her towards me by her waist.

"whatever you want", she wishper.

Seductively. is this my shy wife. I looked at her with assumed experience.

"Ok then,Shall we?" I asked, offering her my arm.

Vaani smiled, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "Let's," she said, taking my arm.

As we walked downstairs together, I felt a sense of pride and happiness that I had never felt before. I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey together, and I couldn't wait to see what the future held for us.

And also I cannot wait for this engagement to end because I have to do what I want to do.

We came downstairs and came to the stage. When I looked at the Pandit carefully, I realized that he was the same Pandit who had performed my wedding.

And now he is staring at me angrily and maybe this is because of my actions on my wedding day.I looked at Anmol because he must have done this work.

Then after some time we exchanged rings and now we are engaged to each other.soon we're going to married. But before that I have to tell my entire family the truth about our marriage.

Our attention shift toward dipali and rudra. They are with microphone and smiled brightly at the gathering. "Ladies and gentlemen, family and friends, it's time to celebrate the love and commitment of our beloved Dhruv and Vaani!" she exclaimed, her voice infectious and energetic.

Regarding Rudra, I want to know that he is dating Priya. This is no less than a shock because I thought that he is a playboy but he is dating a good girl like Priya. I'm happy for him but I still feel that the girl might get hurt later because of that stupid.

Dipali's eyes sparkled with mischief as she added, "Now, it's time to get this party started! Let's dance the night away and celebrate the love and happiness of our dear couple!"

Dipali handed the microphone over to the DJ, the music began to pulse and throb, filling the room with an electric energy. The lights deemed, and the dance floor came alive with colorful lights and flashing strobes.

I looked at her and forward my hand to her. She slowly held my hand and i took to the dance floor, surrounded by my friends and family.

The DJ started playing one of our favorite songs, "Tum Hi Ho" from Aashiqui 2. The music was soulful and romantic, and it perfectly captured the mood of the moment.

Hum tere bin ab reh nahi sakte

Tere bina kya wajood mera

Hum tere bin ab reh nahi sakte

Tere bina kya wajood mera

Tujhse juda agar ho jayenge

Toh khud se hi ho jayenge juda

Kyun ki tum hi ho

Ab tum hi ho

Zindagi ab tum hi ho

Chain bhi mera dard bhi

Mere aashiqui aab tum hi ho

As the music began to play, Vaani and I lost ourselves in the rhythm, our bodies moving in perfect sync.

Tera mera rishta hai kaisa

Ek pal door gawara nahi

Tere liye har roz hai jeete

Tujhko diya mera waqt sabhi

Koi lamha mera na ho tere bina

Har saans pe naam tera

Kyun ki tum hi ho

Ab tum hi ho

Zindagi ab tum hi ho

Chain bhi mera dard bhi

Meri aashiqui ab tum hi ho

We started with a slow, sensual sway, sensual sway, our hips moving to the beat of the music. Then, as the song built up to its crescendo, we quickened our pace, our feet moving in perfect harmony.

"This lyric is speaking the truth vaani, now I lived only for your sake, in my every moment you have only right, there has never been a time when I have not been able to find you you, in my every breath you have only right. Now you're my Life,my peace and my love it's only you ", I didn’t think for a moment and told her.

Tere liye hi jiya main

Khud ko joh yun de diya hai

Teri wafa ne mujhko sambhala

Sare ghamo ko dil se nikala

Tere saath mera hai naseeb juda

Tujhe paake adhoora na raha

I spun Vaani around, her duptta flying around her like a rainbow-colored cloud. She laughed, her eyes sparkling with joy, and I felt my heart swell with love and adoration for her

"Ever since you came into my life, I have devoted myself to you. I was unaware about this fleeing but your love supported me, Only because of you there is no sorrow in my life now, with your arrival I am complete",she said, her eyes shining with happiness along with me while her fist tighter on my shoulder.

As we danced, I felt like I was on top of the world. Nothing else mattered except for the woman in my arms, and the love we shared.

Kyun ki tum hi ho

Ab tum hi ho

Zindagi ab tum hi ho

Chain bhi mera dard bhi

Meri aashiqui ab tum hi ho

It was a feeling I never wanted to end, a feeling I wanted to bottle up and keep forever.

Kyun ki tum hi ho...

Ab tum hi ho...

Zindagi ab tum hi ho..

Chain bhi mera dard bhi...

Meri aashiqui ab tum hi ho ...

The song came to an end, and we slowed down, our bodies swaying to the music. I looked into Vaani's eyes, and she smiled back at me, her eyes sparkling with happiness. I knew that moment that I would do anything to make her happy.

Vaani pov-

I was going back to my room, a sense of relief washed over me. The engagement ceremony was finally over, and I could now focus on the time I had left with Dhruv.

I couldn't help but think about the diagnosis the doctor had given me. I was going to die soon, leaving behind the love of my life. But as I thought about it, I realized that I wasn't going to let it get me down.

I was going to make the most of the time I had left, and I was going to spend it with the person I loved the most. I was going to cherish every moment, every laugh, and every tear that I shared with Dhruv.

As I entered my room, I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. I looked happy, radiant, and at peace. I smiled, knowing that I had made the right decision.

I was going to live my life to the fullest, and I was going to do it with Dhruv by my side. We were going to create memories that would last a lifetime, and we were going to cherish every moment we had together.

I took a deep breath, feeling a sense of determination and resolve. I was ready to face whatever lay ahead, as long as I had Dhruv with me.

I suddenly remembered the whispered words Dhruv had spoken into my ear during the engagement ceremony. "Come to my room tonight," he whispered, his breath sending shivers down my spine.

I felt a flush rise to my cheeks as I thought about those words. I couldn't believe I had forgotten about them until now. A part of me felt shy and nervous at the thought of going to his room, but another part of me felt excited and eager.

I looked around my room, feeling a sense of uncertainty. Should I go to his room or not? What would happen if I did? I didn't know, but I couldn't shake off the feeling that tonight was going to be special.

I took a deep breath, trying to calm my racing heart. I knew what I had to do. I was going to go to his room, and I was going to see where the night took us.
