Dhruv pov-

After dinner we did some chit-chat,and some time teasing Annant ,everybody had their dinner and went towards the hall.

Yes,my whole family keeps teasing us by calling us husband and wife, because all day we live together and anant and his wife also lived with me.

Anant was adopted by my parents,he was the son of my father's PA but after their death my family adopted him but he never changed his surname.

AND since then we both are together We were together in college too and now he is my PA because he had to become one otherwise he was getting some posts in our company but he refused.

My entire family is antique,  but some people are different, like my dad, he is always calm and why doesn't he have to maintain his King aura,ok so he is the king of Malwa Aarun singh Rajvansh,,

I too have some of his symptoms, it's good that my maa is my mother, otherwise my anger would have overpowered my kindness, she is my mother the queen of Malwa dipti Singh Rajvansh

But my little brother has completely gone to papa, he never talks straight to anyone other than his family, he can't control his anger like me. He completed his graduation.

when I asked him to join the office he refused saying that he wants to do something on his own and now he is working on his own which no one knows,ok so he's my brother and Crown prince of Malwa Shivam Singh Rajvansh

And if we talk about my sister so they were twins but very different minded, one side durga Singh Rajvansh, who is strict, rude and workaholic, like my uncle, she is head of our haydrabad branch,,

and other side Dipali Singh Rajvansh who is kind sweet and lovely princess of Malwa, like my Chachi (aunty)she's a fashion designer,

I stood in the shadows, observing the exchange between my family. My dad's voice, laced with concern, cut through the air, "Where are you off to at this hour, beta?"

my response was casual, "Himachal, Maa. Mr. Wong is there for work, and I thought I'd join him."

Papa's brow furrowed, "But isn't this your first time in Himachal? Be careful, okay?"

Chachi ji chimed in, her voice tinged with worry, "Yes, beta, please take care of yourself. You're going so far away."

My laughter was laced with exasperation, "You're all acting like I've never left the house before. I've traveled abroad alone, remember?"

"We know, beta, but we can't help but worry. If only you were married, your wife would take care of you." maa said with a gentle smile.

I  rolled my eyes "Maa, not this again. I've told you, I'm not interested in marriage. It's not for me." saying this i said walked away from there.

I don't know why people need a partner, I don't need one. If I get married then I will have to take care of someone else.

Neither will I be able to give time to my family nor will I be able to give time to my company.I want to take it to the whole world, it is not that my company is not in other countries but in the whole world and if I get married then all this will go mess, and I don't like this.

The room was shrouded in a somber silence, each face etched with concern as they pondered the same question: when would he find someone to share his life with? The weight of their collective worry hung in the air like a challenge, waiting to be addressed.

Omkar, the voice of reason, broke the silence. "It doesn't matter, he'll be accepted with time. Everyone needs a partner who'll care for them." His words were laced with conviction, but the others remained skeptical.

Dipti, Vani's mother, spoke up, her enthusiasm tinged with a hint of desperation. "But when, papa? He's thirty years old, and still, he thinks the same way. He's handsome, but that doesn't mean any girl will marry him when he's forty-five."

The room erupted into a chorus of chuckles, but Dipali's words were laced with a hint of seriousness. "Maybe he just hasn't met the right person yet," Parwati suggested, her voice soft and soothing.

Dipti's expression turned worried. "I don't know, Maaji, but I'm starting to worry about him." The room fell silent once more, each face etched with concern.

Dipali's voice cut through the silence, her excitement palpable. "Who knows, maybe Bhaiya brought someone back from Himachal?" The room erupted into a flurry of speculation, with Dipti declaring, "Then I'll take her in without any questions!"

"How can you choose someone for Bhaiya without even knowing who she is?" Durga's voice was laced with a hint of anger.

Nikhil's stern tone cut through the argument. "Durga, be careful who you're speaking to."

The room fell silent, the tension palpable. Dipti's voice was laced with a hint of reprimand. "Nikhil, there was no need to scold my daughter. She was just sharing her opinion."

Nikhil's response was firm. "Your love has spoiled her, Bhabhi."

The argument was diffused by Omkar's calm intervention. "It's late, everyone should get some rest." The room slowly emptied, each person lost in their own thoughts, wondering when dhruv would find the partner she so desperately needed.

Vaani pov-

I slowly opened my eyes, groggily taking in my surroundings. The sunlight streaming through the window was like a harsh slap, jolting me awake. I hid my face in my hands, trying to ward off the impending sense of dread that settled in the pit of my stomach. But my alarm blared to life, shattering the fragile calm.

As I stepped out of the bathroom, a sense of foreboding settled over me. It was as if something was off, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was. I felt trapped, unable to escape the suffocating sense of dread that threatened to consume me.I dragged myself out of bed and stumbled towards the bathroom, seeking refuge in the familiar routine of my morning ritual. The warm water cascaded down my skin, washing away the remnants of sleep, but the feeling of unease lingered.

Just then, the door to my room creaked open, and my chacha ji strode in, his face twisted in a scowl. His eyes blazed with anger, and his voice was like a whip, lashing out at me with cruel precision.

"You're not satisfied with killing my brother and mother, now you want to kill my wife, too?" he spat, his words dripping with venom.

I recoiled, shocked by the accusations. "What are you saying, Papa? I don't know what you're talking about!" I protested, tears streaming down my face.

Chacha ji's grip on my arm tightened, sending a jolt of pain through my body. "Don't play innocent with me! You know exactly what you've done! Because of you, my wife's health is deteriorating!"

My mind reeled as I struggled to comprehend the situation. "What happened to Mummy?" I cried, my voice shaking with fear.

Chacha ji's face twisted in a snarl. "Her blood pressure has skyrocketed because of your bad luck! You're a curse, a black shadow that's consuming my entire family!"

With a sudden burst of rage, he flung me to the ground, his words echoing in my mind like a death sentence. "Enough! You're getting married tonight, or your darkness will destroy everything I hold dear!"

As he stormed out of the room, I lay there, shattered and broken, my world reduced to rubble. The darkness closing in around me seemed to have a life of its own, threatening to engulf me whole.

"Please forgive me, Mummy," I whispered, my voice barely audible over the sound of my own heartbeat. "Your health has deteriorated because of me... it doesn't matter, everything will be fine after I leave."

The words tasted bitter on my lips, a constant reminder of the pain I had caused. Time seemed to be moving at a breakneck pace, the hours ticking by like minutes. Before I knew it, the morning had given way to night, and I was sitting in front of the mirror, transformed into a bride.

But amidst all the chaos, one thing stood out - my mother's absence. She hadn't come to see me, not even once. A pang of worry shot through my chest. Was her health really that bad? Was it all because of me?

I glanced at the clock for what felt like the hundredth time, my anxiety growing with each passing minute. I had been waiting for half an hour, but no one had come to call me. The silence was oppressive, a heavy blanket that suffocated me.

I felt like a pawn in a game I didn't understand, a game where the rules kept changing and the stakes kept rising. And I was running out of time.

"it is time for the arrival but why has anyone not come till now; i thought in my mind

The atmosphere in the Rawat Hall was tense, the air thick with anticipation. The guests were fidgeting in their seats, their faces etched with concern. But amidst the sea of worried faces, one person stood out - Anmol, the brother of the bride.

A sly smile played on his lips as he thought to himself, "What did you people think? I only tell her on every Rakshabandhan that I will protect her." His eyes sparkled with amusement, and he couldn't help but think, "Nice joke, Dad."

Just then, Shriraj ji's voice cut through the tension, "What are you saying, Raghav ji? The groom is missing?" Raghav ji's face turned pale, his eyes wide with worry.

But before anyone could panic, Abhi stepped forward, a confident smile on his face. "Don't worry, Papa. I'll find him, and if I don't, I'll bring someone else. But this wedding will definitely happen."

Anmol's smile faltered, his eyes narrowing slightly as he watched Abhi. He didn't like the sound of that, not one bit. Who was Abhi to promise someone else in his sister's place? Anmol's protective instincts kicked in, and he felt a surge of anger towards Abhi. This was not going to go down well.

Anmol's mind was racing with indignation as he listened to the conversation around him. "What are these people saying? How can they even think of arranging Laddu's wedding with some unknown person? I have to do something," he thought to himself.

Just then, anmol turned to his father and said, "Papa, you wait and attend to the guests, I'll bring the groom with me." Anmol's eyes narrowed, his grip on his phone tightening.

Abhi turned to him, a questioning look on his face. "And why would you do this, Anmol? You were supposed to stop this wedding, right?"

Anmol's expression turned calculating, his voice smooth as silk. "Papa, why shouldn't I get this wedding done? After all, it will be profitable for our company. And if this wedding is stopped, our family's name will also be ruined."

Abhi's eyes widened in surprise, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. "Hmm, you're not like your mother," he said, a note of approval in his voice. "Go quickly and find the groom."

Anmol nodded, a determined look on his face. He turned and walked away, his mind racing with plans to salvage the situation and protect his sister's interests.

The air was thick with tension as Abhi and Raghav engaged in a delicate dance of words. Abhi's voice was laced with a subtle threat, his eyes glinting with a knowing spark.

"Mr. Raghav, if Vaani's marriage doesn't happen with your son, it shouldn't make any difference to our partnership. And neither should anyone know that no one is benefiting from this partnership," Abhi said, his tone dripping with sarcasm.

Raghav's face twisted into a mocking smile. "Oh, of course, Mr. Rawat. Why would I want a partnership with you when we're benefiting from it?" The sarcasm was palpable, but Abhi's expression remained impassive.

"Better for you," Abhi said, his voice dripping with malice, his smirk a thin, cruel line.

Raghav walked away, Abhi's thoughts turned sinister. "What does he think? That you'll kidnap the groom and I won't know anything? Now that you're not at home and your mother is locked in her room, no one can stop this marriage." A creepy smile spread across his face, his eyes glinting with malevolence.

With a swift motion, Abhi turned to one of his men. "Bring that boy to the mandap. I'm coming with Vaani."

The man nodded, his voice barely above a whisper. "Yes, sir."

As the man scurried away, another onlooker watched the scene unfold with a growing unease. "What kind of an uncle is he? He's marrying his own brother's daughter off to a beggar?" The man's thoughts were laced with disgust, his eyes wide with horror.

Abhi's voice was firm, but laced with a sinister undertone as he stood in Vaani's room, his eyes gleaming with an unsettling intensity. "Let's go, it's time for the wedding."

Vaani's voice trembled as she extended her hand, her eyes welling up with tears. "Papa, I'll get married and then I'll leave. Promise me you'll take care of Mummy, and Bhiya."

Abhi's grip on her arm tightened, his fingers digging deep into her skin. His voice was low, menacing, as he spat out the words. "If you leave here, everything will be fine."

Vaani's heart shattered into a million pieces as she listened to Abhi's words. Tears streamed down her face, her body shaking with sobs. The people she had grown up with, the ones she had considered family, were now rejecting her, casting her aside like a discarded toy.

The pain was suffocating, making it hard for her to breathe. She felt like she was drowning in a sea of despair, unable to find a lifeline to cling to.

Abhi's grip on her arm remained tight as he dragged her to the mandap, forcing her to sit next to a stranger. The veil covering her face obscured her vision, but her mind was racing with thoughts of what would happen after the wedding.

Would she be trapped in a loveless marriage, forced to spend the rest of her life with a man she didn't know? The thought sent a chill down her spine, making her blood run cold.

As she sat there, surrounded by the oppressive silence of the mandap, Vaani felt like she was staring into the abyss, unsure of what lay ahead, but certain that her life would never be the same again.
